Our equipment can be operated remotely for safer and more efficient stump grinding. Once our machines are placed near the stump or the above ground root system, our operators move away from the flying dirt, debris and woodchips and complete the job while using remote control.
How stump removal works
We’ll visit your commercial property so you can show us which stumps you need removed. We need at least 36" of space to get our equipment through any fences or nearby obstacles. If your stump is next to another tree you don't want to be harmed, a GrindNGo Stumps ISA-certified arborist will look over the area to ensure your tree is safe. Our stump grinding equipment will chew away at the exposed wood growth and turn it into mulch. Before digging, we’ll call diggers hotline to make sure we’re not messing with any underground utilities.
For smaller, individual stumps, grinding them away can take a quick 15 minutes. Large stumps can take up to two hours for complete removal. All stumps and exposed root systems are ground away to at least a 6 inch depth. Stump removal inherently leaves a gap in the landscape where the tree once stood, which can be backfilled and graded to smooth out the area.

Stump Grinding Prices for Businesses
Each stump grinding service comes with a $100 minimum fee. If you’d like to add full clean-up services, it’s an additional $5/inch on individual stumps or $200/hour on half and full-day packages. Our equipment can fit through fenced-in areas with gate sizes of up to 36”. To determine prices, measure the stump by the widest point, including root flare. Any additional costs to remove stumps include ones with above-ground roots or raised mounds. These are removed to ensure the landscape is level.
